You Got Your Wedding Videos Back… Now What?
You just got your wedding videos back!!!! As a 2025 bride, I know how FREAKING EXCITING it is to get all of your videos and photos back from the best day of your life. It is so so SO important to download every video from your gallery and make sure it is stored safely! So here’s what you should do as soon as you get an email saying “Your videos are ready!!!!”
1. Watch your videos and enjoy!!!
Your wedding is a once in a lifetime event and I know that watching the videos truly brings you back to that day! So watch your videos, listen to your private vows, see yourself walk down the aisle, and enjoy. Highly recommend making a little date night out of it by getting some pizza and wine and having your own movie night where you’re the stars 🤩 Don’t forget to share with your family and friends!!!
2. Download your videos
Make sure you save your memories forever!! Your wedding videos were delivered through Pixieset and will be in that gallery for 30 days after delivery. To download your videos, make sure you go to each tab at the top and download every video! The download button is at the top right on each video.
3. Keep your videos in a safe place
You don’t want to lose these videos!!!! First step – save the videos to your computer. Then, back them up to the cloud – something like Google Photos, Dropbox, Google Drive, anything that is not physically in your house. If you want to be even safer, buy an SSD (solid state drive) like this one and transfer all of your videos and the photos from your photographer onto it. Put it in a safe place like a safe or even better a fireproof safe.
That’s it! I know it’s easy to get wrapped up in the excitement of receiving your wedding videos and honestly I feel like a parent writing this blog post but I want to make sure you have your memories forever! I took all the same steps when I got my photos and videos back and now I don’t have to worry about ever losing the best day of my life.
4. Lastly, write a review and refer!
